Highly respected, yet unconventional GP Dr. Julian Goldstein diagnoses ever-irreverent advertising executive Marley Corbett, who bags on love avoiding any commitment, with terminal cancer, impressed by the way she accepts the news with humor and dignity. Under anesthetic, God (well, her feminist ideal version Whoopi!) 'appears' granting Marley three wishes. She chooses the ability to fly, a million dollars (not tax free), and a secret one.
